This year has been full of many murals and many wonderful memories including moving to a new studio in LA. It’s amazing that’s it’s been a whole year since my last release!

I am honored & humbled to finally bee able to release this print in collaboration with My Friend’s Place. For 35 years My Friend’s Place has been assisting and inspiring the youth experiencing homelessness to build self-sufficient lives. They offer services to over 1000 youth ages 12-25 years old. Their vision recognizes homelessness as a social, racial, economic & justice issue. They are committed to uplifting all youth experiencing homelessness while continuously promoting their guiding principles of Justice, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.

In 2011 I had created a series of ‘big kids’ painted in alley ways and unloved parts of the city. This series focused on raising awareness about youth homelessness. I was noticing how the city was starting to change and raising awareness about this issue was and still is very important to me. It got the attention of My Friend’s Place and I received an email in 2012 regarding my artwork and was invited to paint a piece for them on their youth service center on Hollywood Blvd.

Since then, I’ve always wanted to create a special print that captured the spirit of the image with both our missions in mind and I am proud to finally bee able to do that now.
